The Enrolling in Foundation (Prep) webpage within the Starting school page contains information for families on how to enrol their child in a Victorian government school and outlines the timeframes for submitting Foundation enrolment applications for the 2025 school year.
Our school zone for 2025 is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au. Find my school hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones. Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined based on your permanent residential address. Students living outside the zone are able to enrol at the school if places are available.
The ‘Foundation (Prep) Enrolment Information Pack for Parents and Carers’ (pack for parents and carers) is available to download from the Enrolling in Foundation (Prep) webpage within the Starting school page on the Vic Gov website. The pack for parents and carers contains the ‘Application to Enrol in a Victorian Government School Form’ (application form).
The Department guides the School Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.

Enrolling
To start primary school your child must turn five years of age, or older, by 30 April of the year that they will start school.
Enrolment Requirements - to enrol your child we will need:
School staff will provide you with the appropriate enrolment forms and will organise an interpreter if required.
